Would help if I didn't insist on doing shit the hard way. BUT STILL.

It was supposed to be a boat :(
Truthfully: The assignment was to use basic shapes to draw an abstract picture. I'm not good at art so I drew a boat in a square.

If it makes you feel any better I guessed boat before I read that's what it was.

How are you creating the lines, are these simply drawn with the paint brush or are they vectors?

Use illustrator. It's a vector program, where photoshop is pixel based. With illustrator, or any program that does bezier curves with a scalable format, it will be much better. And easier to manipulate.

Inkscape will be your friend.

Unless you're doing a specific assignment, drawing something like this is infinitely easier in Illustrator, which you can then import to Photoshop for coloring, shading and what have you.

I feel like this drawing isn't just from memory.
